Project Cars - XBOX ONE Trailer

Wait... What? All those brands are not in it? Wonder if forza has a lock on licensing? Bummer. Maybe they'll release as download content. I didn't get a chance to pick it up yet. I would have been thoroughly disappointed to not see a corvette in the game

New cars and brands are going to be released frequently at no cost, at least on the PC version. I wouldn't think the console versions would be any different. On the bright side of things, at least they skimped on the cars and not put out a product that was half-baked in the controls, graphics, and physics.

Good point. I'll still probably pick it up.

Even after an update I find the cars difficult to consistently drive with a controller. There is some other glitchiness that still exists too. If they had announced FM6 prior to the release of this I would have waited until the game launched to order, then I would have heard about all the issues, and I would have just skipped it all together. Forza is getting at least some of the tracks that are in Project CARS. And one of those was a decent motivator in getting Project CARS.

I'm still on the fence about buying it. Most people say it's a pain in the ass with a controller, but it's awesome with a proper steering wheel controller. Maybe I'll wait till the fall or Christmas sale to see if it goes down any further. I don't want to drop a couple hundred on a steering wheel controller just yet.

I bought Project Cars for ps4 and it is very difficult to keep the cars in a straight line or on the track going through a curve with a controller. I've never had such difficulties with keeping cars on the track while playing Gran Turismo or Forza. I'm thinking of picking up a steering wheel when I have the extra cash, hoping that will help. I can't even enjoy the game the way it is right now.

Logitech makes a very nice steering wheel, but it costs ~$220, IIRC. I've seen it on sale every now and then for about $150-ish, and sometimes refurbs pop up on eBay for between $100 and $150.

I'll have to keep an eye out for one at a reasonable price. I don't think I can justify spending upwards of $200 on one seeing as how I don't play that often. If this was 10 years ago where I played daily I wouldn't mind.

I just don't have the room for a wheel and a set up to go with it in our current house. If I can't play with a controller the game is pretty dead to me. Which describes project cars right now.
