Malibu Looks good. Any details on the golf? OR the Miata? They look pretty neat. That Chevelle is pure sex.

Looks good Bill. Keep it updated with progress pictures. They guy I bought my 78 Malibu off of was in the middle of Mini Tubbing it, so I need to finish that up too!

Almost 30"...I think MT says they're actally 29.8-.9...Huge! It'll look good if the ride height doesn't change..happy cutting!

thats clean car you got there, gunna be out this year?

thanks its pretty clean, but there's a few spots on the body that need paint and love, yes the car will be out this year. i'll be here late every night i can working on it when i get out off work. my goal is to make opening day at milan and run it at milans first grudge race this season. the new shop is badass, kendall and I have worked our asses off getting it setup and going. the hard work is starting to pay off.

it isnt driveable at the moment, the drive shaft's out of it and in my garage at home. i need to upgrade to something a touch better then stock. there's enough stuff to keep my busy until my birthday on april 1st. but i am bound and determined to get it finished by opening day. had it running a few hrs ago, and the motor made a slight ticking noise. dont know if it was just a lifter or something else. I am not too super worried about it but it was making a weird sound. i'll know more in the next week or so as i have time to mess with it. i think its more of a spark issue, i had one spark plug that looked way richer then all the others.

hey man that place is lookin alot better sense the day we were movin shit into it an man the car is lookin bad ass let me know if you need some help workin on it an u know where iam at so hit me up iam game to gettin that bitch out this year cuz my project was put on hold so hit me up ill give you a hand

Check that lash and lobes... if a valve is lazy or hanging it make that plug burn funny...

just a quick update, i made a patch panel for where the trunk's spare tire well used to be. i made it out of a old hiway road sign that was alum. i wacked it out in litterly 5 minutes on a shear and think it looks ok, but more important, it works. i riveted it to the trunk floor. I'll post up some quick pics tomarrow, and a few of how the 29.5 looks in the wheel well and how much room i dont have, and how much work its gonna be. depending on how i feel this weekend, i think i'll start making the jig to hold the rear frame in place and start working on bracing for the rear frame rails.

well i took a few pics tonight to get an idea of how much work this is gonna be, and although its a lot of work, it seems pretty straight forward. the rims i have are 6.5 inches of back spacing, and i need to move the tire roughly 1.5 inches before it seats against the drum, then i gotta make sure i have room topside in the front and back for the tire and growth at speed. The pics are with the rear end jacked up so its sitting at ride height. once i get the tire to tuck inside the wheel well, i'll lower it so the 1/4 panel tucks the tire 2 inches or so.

i see that dangling battery cable... and the ginormous hole in that drag launch air bag!

if it wasn't a lot or work, it wouldn't be a project. buying it built is cheating.

there's pics of my pos in here somewhere bill... check em out

Flagman, I have to tell you the that I am impressed. I know times have been hard but you finally are getting it done!!! Looks like the Flagman will be racing!!!! Even if you are not the fastest you still are coming out with something man!!!! And yes you still get your 7 car headstart.
