I have a set of case halves for a husky te650 enduro, long story short the motor went around the world and were now rebuilding it, so while its apart were cleaning up the failing powder coat. Both case halves are stripped to clean bare metal.
Would powder coat be the best bet to get a nice clean finish? can we use engine enamel, any experiences with it. any tips tricks? these case halves are very hard to come by and literally have a 4 month lead time.
i have access to a dry oven here at work, would spraying it in engine enamel and baking it at 120 degrees yield solid results?
Thanks fellas,
