That's a lot of torque! I always thought those had potential. Rarely see them anymore. Where would we be if that had actually become the NEW Mustang BACK IN '88? Remember that?

ya, that car was A LOT of fun...... surprised the shit out of tons of people. it would spin the tires from a 40mph roll in 3rd:seizure:
it killed tranny's on a regular basis tho:sad: last one took me 3 hrs total to swap out in my buddies driveway by myself haha.

too bad i could never get it to hook..... ever. best time was a 13.8 @ 105 w/ a 2.2 60'

It's funny, but you NEVER see those cars anymore. I remember being a kid and 1-2 power shifting them down our new car lot. The had horrible torque steer, but they ran well.

i dont doubt it. i knew a guy whos ran 14.30s at 86mph lol that thing was like retarted fast from 20-70. all it had was a dp, exhaust, air filter and boost turned up.

heres my last rx7, 13.60s@106mph. 2.5inch dp, exhaust, intake, and boost set at 7psi. doesnt take much to get them to scoot.

heh, i let my buddy drive it and i warned him about that...... well needless to say he didnt heed my warning and this was his face when the tires let loose @ 40 :seizure::seizure::seizure:
