I shipped my Mach 1 reliable from canton mi to phoenix enclosed. $1100 from warehouse to warehouse. The driver called me when he was outside Toledo, said it was the last car on first off. He also called the second day letting me know where he was at. Two days after drop off I picked it up. Best service I have ever received

DTE gives you a $75 rebate when you purchase a smart thermostat and Consumers $50. I'm not sure if you can get both rebates, but it's worth a try lol

Some of the major shippers are now offering real time tracking with the vehicle.

Just as an example of how bad shit can be, a buddy of mine once shipped a white Ferrari 458 he sold a couple hours away. Car didn't show up in time. Customer was like "WTF." Car eventually shows up, and I am not making this up, the shipper had obviously taken the car off and damaged it, then attempted to paint it himself and deliver it to the customer. It wasn't a small amount of paint or damage. It was a ton. And the car had rattle can spray paint over spray and huge glops of paint drips all over it. Needless to say, it didn't go unnoticed.

I got both rebates a couple years ago. At the time it was $150 total between DTE/ Consumers for a smart thermostat and I paid just over $100 for a sensi Wifi unit. Made about $50 out of it.

Assuming I get both rebates, I'll be in it for $25. The unit I got was on sale Memorial Day for $150. Hopefully I get both rebates. DTE didn't have any fine print in regards to it, but the Consumers site said "rebate cannot be combined with any other utilities", which I interpreted as "you won't get anything from us if you asked for a rebate elsewhere." No biggie, one rebate is better than zero.

Dude, car shippers are THE WORST.

3 days in car shipper time is usually 5 days, one meth bust and 37 re-arrangings of the cars on the transport.

I've had to tell people before, get the car here in the next 24 hours or I'm reporting it stolen, and when they find you I am coming to shoot you.

Only use a major shipper like Reliable Carriers, Passport, etc. Even then shit happens, but nothing compared to when you just throw out a job on Central Dispatch.

It was supposed to be a 2 day ship. Took 5. If they would have told me 5 when they picked it up. They lied to me for 3 days and I had no idea where my car was is what bothered me. I did threaten to report the car stolen. That's when they were going to send the DOT after the driver.

The driver shit a brick when I jump out of my truck and saw the .45 on my hip and I jumped right in his face....lol

It was stolen. Contract states two days, you paid for a 2 day delivery.
