Similarly, I like the cleanliness of the wall-mounted units...but I talked to the place I've bought nearly all my door 'stuff' from (Home, Door & Window in Berkley) and they said they have more problems with that style than all the other chain drive units they sell combined. Can't say I know anyone with the wall-mounted versions or done any research for myself...but they've never steered me wrong before. And on that note, anyone have any input?

I was advised to get this unit from Garage Journal forum. MANY members swear by them and never had any issues. Actually, this is the first bad thing I have ever heard about them. Its pricey but I dont want to deal with the overhead chain drive anymore.

Yeah, I was surprised to hear them steer me away from it. I'm curious to see how it serves you over time...and hope it does well.

I've got that style opener and no problems after a year. One high lift, one regular height. I really like the deadbolt it has in the tracks. I did have to buy the wireless module separately, I think there's a newer revision that has it included. Also bought the battery backup for one of them.

Biggest complaint is that it doesn't work with the homelink in the Flex, I think there's some kind of external thing you can buy that makes it compatible with some but I haven't done enough research to figure it out.

I just purchased these new classic truck stamps
at the USPS office. They are the "Forever Stamps",
which means they never expire, the only ones I buy.

Picked up a BCM charging handle and a compensator in my trip to Waterford this past weekend. The compensator has blown me away, there is now 0 flip or jump, I was not expecting it to work that well.
