Hell yeah! I've been keeping an eye on this one on C/L for awhile, glad to see it found a good home! One of my old bosses back in the early 90's had a beautiful 914 with a 911 SC engine put together by Tim Potts at Eurotech in Ann Arbor. He let me wheel it around town a few times, and I've wanted one ever since.

Yeah, the timing was right on this one! As I'm still finishing up the mustang, I'm not in the mindset to start another project. This is nice enough that I can drive it for a few years and then do a six swap and get it repainted. Until then I'm gonna drive the shit out of it.

Porsche 6'a, Subaru, and v8 swaps are all pretty common

A swap would be cool and certainly wake it up, but sometimes it's just more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow lol...

I've been beating around in this 1991 Miata all year, and have considered a turbo or V8 swap, but the Mustang keeps absorbing any spare cash. Dollar for dollar, it's hard to beat the go-cart handling and huge aftermarket parts availability, and it has been by far my most fun "other car".

Just put a supercharger or turbo on the miata. My wife has a 94 with a jackson supercharger and its a blast to drive

ecotech swap 272 HP and 100lbs IIRC lighter than the Miata Motor

Or, an LS and 6 speed swap at ~100 lbs over stock! Actually, I have a spare "bullet" for this thing I picked up off C/L for cheap (1.6 liters of fury). I planned on a re-ring and ARP head studs w/Cometic head gasket, then swap it in with a turbo kit maybe next year depending on funds and interest level at that time.

I recently installed used Bilstein shocks and Mazda Speed springs (also off C/L, for $100) and the car sits about an inch lower than in the pic. I also have a tubular K-member and all the parts for a manual steering rack swap to simplify the engine bay, which will probably get installed over next winter. It really is pretty fun the way it is, for now. This thing is all about used parts and max fun per buck.

This one looks good for you Ken, and not too far away! http://annarbor.craigslist.org/cto/5199423622.html
