Hoppers scrambler 850 2013 or 14 can't remember the year. Went from fast..... To pulling wheelies without trying on asphalt and dirt. It screams now. We bought them at the same time. After doing his I ran home to put mine in. I'm poor so I only have a 2013 sportsman 500, even with the oversized wheels and tires, it's unreal how much harder it pulls.

Last time I was at bundy hill a guy blew his belt after 30 minutes. It was a new xp1k. May be truth to that.

I never broke mine in. Went right to beating it. Had belt off when I did clutch. Looked fine. Rubbed the glaze off and went right back to it

Different belts in the sportsman 500 and rzr1k. Im not sure if breakin is necessary either way.

I grenaded a belt on my can am at 150 miles, didnt do proper break in. took out the inner and outer CVT covers with it. Fortunately they warrantied it. Although having my machine in the shop for a month waiting on parts and authorization was a bitch. BREAK THE BELT IN. AND MAKE SURE TO CARRY THE TOOLS AND A SPARE WITH YOU to change it if it breaks

And a Sportsman 500 with 35hp vs a 1200+lb 110hp is a whole different ball game when it comes to belts
