We bought at around $150/sq ft at the end of 09. Sold the same place for $215/sq ft, went north in a high market and got $115/sq ft.

So yes, prices are all over the damn place. I feel like we robbed a bank after we sold for what we did.

There were 8 more viewings the day we put the offer in (we saw it after 1hr on the market). We offered a hair over asking, and they accepted 2 hours later. They have 3 kids and didn't want to be out of the house late at night, realized they got their asking price and moved on with life. ...we got lucky

Yeah, a stock SHO goes high 13's low 14's. Tune only cars go low 13's and the best tune only I've seen is 12.65

I ended up getting it from Costco signed up for the Amex and executive membership, so 6 months 0%, 1% back on purchase from Amex, 2% on membership so not too terrible, they had it on special for 2k with free shipping, and being Costco member had it dropped at my house with a truck with a gate (usually extra $150)
