What about a line array for the center channel? You can run a larger number of small drivers, get higher efficiency, and still produce good mid-bass due to the total amount of cone area. You can probably position 8 1" drivers easier than a box with an 8" coaxial...plus you get much better sound coverage.

You can probably get 4 to 6 1" drivers in the pillars, wire 2 in parallel, and wire the parallels in series. Each additional driver gives you another +3dB in efficiency....every time you add one it's like doubling your volume capabilities. If you get drivers with weak magnets, they'll work better in the confines of the pillar as opposed to being in a larger box. More cone control and tighter bass.

i went back and forth a hundred times about getting it.. spent a ton of time trying to dig up peoples opinions on them and now Im glad I splurged for it.. there is no better way to secure and store your air/power tools !

I have the same box, watch it carefully they have leaking problems

I installed it couple days ago. Drove it to belletire today for alignment check....... Damn! It's awesome! Totally changed the feel of the car. After the 5 speed install.... I'll be very happy
