I went with a SolderWerks BLackJack BK3000LF last year and love it!

A good iron makes all the difference in the world. My $20 Parts Express cheapie really got on my nerves this past weekend as it wasnt holding a hot temp and I kept getting cold joints. I was gonna grab the Hakko 926, but it was discontinued and everybody that has them marked them up from $80 to $125 . Figured Id get the FX888...as its the successor to the 926.

I actually traded my 944 for it to rockthemullit. I have always wanted one, and this ones got a few mods. The only car i have left from the 80's to own is an 87 GN and then its time for the 90's, lol.


I also just picked up that 540i 6 speed in the background, but the conquest is more of a conversation piece!
