I went and looked at the new Gas Gas and KTM's at Magic Racing. They have a $1100 incentive on new bikes but that still put me at $11,000ish out the door for either new GG or KTM. I was set on a KTM, but went and looked at this bike as it was local. I am a total rookie on a dirt bike so buying new did not make sense yet. This Sherco is pretty bad ass IMO. Its a 2019 and the "Factory" edition which comes with some nice features with better suspension, rims, electric Start, etc... Now I just need to be careful. I just changed all the fluids last night and its ready to rip!

Looks good Matt! Although as a GasGas fan I think a EC250 would be better. :icon_razz

It's definitely a solid choice of bike. It won't let you down. I'm on the hunt for a reasonably priced KTM 300 XC-W or a GG EC300. I don't want to buy new either because I don't get as much time on my bikes as I'd like. So spending that much on new doesn't work for me LOL

Bought an absolute beast of a bike. Found a practically new 2016 with 2,400 miles on it.

Thanks! I love it so far. power wheelies in 3rd, clutch up in 4th. I don't understand how the previous owner never "enjoyed" this bike. He said he was scared of it. Which makes sense with the giant chicken strips it has on the original tires. I ordered bags for it only to find out I was off by 1 number on the part number. Ordered the 2020+ bags and not the 2019 down bags. So they'll end up on the KTM forums for sale.

For a hyper naked the wind isn't terrible. Just the same I still ordered a windshield. Suspension is soft but a good middle ground of comfort. Over 150HP on a 420LB bike is fantastic. I have found 2 things to bitch about. The turn signal switch doesn't "slide" like a usual bike. It's a button with minimal "Click" feedback. I found myself having to look at the gauges often to make sure the signal was on or off. Then the way the bike came from factory, the grip to tank clearance was TERRIBLE. If you had thick gloves, you'll feel the "squeeze" on a lock turn. Luckily when I set the bike up for my size and preference I made significantly more room for hands to not get pinched.
