^^ Yammy HS5s? Niiiiiice. The woofers on those look nearly identical to the famed Yammy NS-10M. Studio monitors are the way to fly, computer or not. I was on the fence between those and the JBL LSR305, ended up getting the 305s cuz the deal was too good to pass up. I ended up getting a pair for $120 during the Christmas season. Get some isolation pads for them, that way it keeps the bass in the cabinets and doesn't make your desk vibrate.

They are the best computer speakers ever! Which was probably exaggerated by stepping up from a set of Logitechs. I did the same debate with the M Audio BX 5s, the M Audio couldn't handle loud volumes and low notes, the JBLs sounded great but the Yamahas just sounded better.
At some point, Ill make stands and use isolators (IsoAcustics) since desk space is limited (the other one is on its box in the space behind the monitor and the corner). I am going to do a home theater/real stereo next though, I got hooked on a set of Paradigms at the store so... I need to get those or something like them for living room.

Finally got off my wallet this weekend and went from 60" of 1998 low def glory:
to 2016. :lol: Got a 55" LG LED Smart TV. Finally, I can watch shows in HD.
