Yes, fan is mounted down. Mine is on a glass platform and the fan sucks in from the bottom and blows out the back. The rest is sealed.

Picked it up from Bright powersport on the 4th. I have only had it out twice and I got about 140 miles on it. It is a awesome machine for the price. I am just waiting for the spanner wrench to show up so I can start playing with the suspension.
