Post a picture of your latest purchase.

Very cool! Both the car and the lift!

Thanks, I hope to get it as straight as yours.

Money bags!!

There's nothing money about my 25 year old cars.

True, but determining concrete thickness is very easy to do.

I wouldn't trust builder grade concrete and with out drilling a bunch of holes you never know how consistent it is. A 2 post should be a foot away from any seams and that pretty much forces you to pour new pads. I figure the four post is no different than a truck on jack stands and distributes the load a little more.

RE the 4 post lift...how tall is your garage ceiling? Do you put the Mustang or another car under the GN?

The ceiling is about 11.5 feet, I can put the Mustang under with the lift resting on the second lock from the top. I want to rest it on the top lock but I haven't had the balls to bring it any higher without a spotter. You have to lift it past the locks and then bring it down to release tension on the cables.

4 post don't need shit.

Your garage floor now is fine. Shit, some 4 posts roll around.

2 post requires thicker concrete

Yes, this one has wheel adapters so you can move it around.

The mustang is on dolly's so it can come down a few more inches.
