Post a picture of your latest purchase.

A guy that works for me bought it 7 years ago to restore and ended up with too many projects and not enough money. I bought it CHEAP and he has nearly everything to build it up and duplicates of some. He even has a 9" out of a 427 car to go in it. I passed on the 390/C6 combo as I plan to run a Cleveland headed Windsor and an AOD.

Clevor FTW!!!! Best of both worlds if you use the right block.

If I had room for another restoration vehicle I would be looking for one in that condidtion. Unfortunately I need something turn-key that runs to not piss off the neighbors lol

I'm going with a '74 2 bolt block. Gunna be 408 with the runners in the heads filled to '3V' specs and feeding her E85. It'll stay in my garage until it's ready for paint, then back in the garage until I drive it out.

Built AOD (I plan to drive this car) and I'm still deciding on Wimbledon White, Candy Apple Red, or Black.

All three would have the original stainless '500XL' trim which sits just above the rocker. No stripes. Definitely getting the 427 scoop hood like so.

I've had a few people tell me I should make it a nostalgia car, but I didn't see those cars race so it's not my thing.

I've had several 66 and 67 Fairlanes, including a 66GT and a 67 GTA..I also sold my 67 Comet Caliente convertible last summer

Open face helmet, of course. lol

Looking forward to seeing the Fairlane build. I vote for factory color code candyapple red.
