GT is the best car ever, period. I'm not trying to be a homer when I say that, but there's a reason why people routinely pay $50-75k over sticker for an 8 year old car they built 4,000 of. It's just fun all the time, fast, still sexiest car on the road.

MP4 is really fast. Fastest stock car I've ever driven by a long shot. Very impressive overall. It's very much a tech driving experience while the GT is totally analog. GT is like "ok, hit the red button, then use the pedals, wheel and the shifter." McLaren has knobs and buttons all over the place. When the weather clears up next week ill really get out in it.

GT in that pic is not mine. A couple buddies were working on an ohlins shock package for GT and that's one of their cars. No stripe black. Was originally tungsten, got totaled and still sold for within 5-6% of MSRP.

Have you ever driven a Carrera GT? I imagine that is one of the only cars that is as simple yet exciting as a FGT.

One of the few cars I haven't. I'd really like to but they do have a reputation as a widowmaker. They went back up for the same reason as the GT, end of an era. They dropped all the way into the mid 200s at one point. Way back up now. You have to have big balls to buy a car with a notoriously easy to toast clutch that also costs $30k to replace. I would be way too scared to drive one of those hard.

Did you really need 2 of them ??
Ive heard the Huskey compressors are built by CH and decent units.. is that a dual stage ?? hard to tell with the cover on there

No I only bought the one, but I think like you said made by CH, it was on mark down for $326 so couldnt complain.

I have seen them listed for low 300's for a car with some miles to high 300's for a rare color car with low miles. Quite a difference two years can make. Your friend that owns Elite Autos sure has some odd ball cars. LFA, CLK GTR, and two CGT. He is living the life
