I'm in Atlanta. There's a massive kick ass one on Michigan ave in downtown Chicago. That's the closest one near you guys unless they built one in the Detroit area.

Funny thing is I am very skeptical about expensive cables. I upgraded my HDMI cables and noticed a pretty big difference when playing video games in 3D, and watching Bluray. Then someone told me about upgrading the powder cable to the PS3 and tv as notable differences. That is why I am nervous to move the receiver so far from the tv. Next is some sort of power conditioner/surge protector.

Get a cheap soldering iron and make your own. Most of the botique cable manufacturers buy their stock from the same distributors, which is available for pennies per foot compared to what finished cables run for. Be very careful when cable shopping, theres more snake oil out there than anything else. With cables, high price doesnt mean high quality
