Possible record breaking storm to hit Midwest Tomorrow into Wednesday.

I'm sure my power will be going out in Macomb twp, it always does. Moderately concerned about my neighbors tree, it was hit like lightning a month ago and has already had two big ass limbs fall down already.

My power used to go out constantly. (19 & Schoenherr area) It's been better the past couple years. Before it seemed like if you farted to loud it would go out.

Right there by where you said you live across from the school was notorious and seems like it still is for loosing power (like you said). My friend lives right on 19 on the North side of the road, and this year we were standing outside his garage when lightening hit the transformer next door. The light was so intense it turned everything neon green for a few seconds and damn near blew out our eardrums. lol

"This is a storm potentially as strong or stronger"

so it may not be as strong or it may be stronger? I love how reporters word things.

Exactly! While I am glad I am not at work to deal with power outage issues. I'm not worried about it. It seems whenever there is huge hype about weather it is never as bad as they say it is going to be.

....They are sending kids home here from school.... Pussies...

Taking shelter @ GEMA in Dundee.

BAX in Toledo just told us that they are on lockdown and not letting any trucks move. Everybody is inside in their shelter.

what a waste of bullshit news. once again the weather forecasters blew harder than the wind today.

We've had quite a bit of that this past summer. I can remember numerous times where we were supposed to get walloped, then getting cloudy skies with a few sprinkles.

Umm, it was bad as hell. Not sure what you guys are talking about. Not much clipped where you are, but the rest of the midwest got rocked.
