Plastic-dip removal?

Hey folks, I just bought this 2010 Ford Fusion and
the wheels look like they were "plastic-dipped".

What is the best & easiest way to strip / clean these?

Just get the power washer close to the rim around the edges and it should peel right back off.

if it wasn't put on thick enough it will be a pain in the butt. yours almost looks like regular old paint the way its chipped.

spray them liberally with WD-40, wait about 10 minutes then power washer. The WD-40 will cut your time at the power washer down a lot.

No, it is very pliable & soft like a rubbery paint.

It sounds like I should spray them with Goo Gone
& try the coin spray wash and see how that works.
