Pittsburgh got whooped...

im gonna throw my opinion out on the whole crosby thing. i will start by saying i do not like him. is he a great hockey player? absolutely. one of the best in the league? no doubt. is he a whiney bitch? for sure. my opinion is that ovechkin is the best player in the league. hes off to a slow start this year. im confident at the end of the year he will be right up at the top with stamkos and crosby and all the other goal scorers in the league. ovechkin is ALWAYS at the top with +/- you can not deny that. crosby is a great play maker and he knows where to be on the ice and when to be there. he gets a TON of goals off of the rebound. smart hockey, keep your stick on the ice and pull the trigger as soon as the puck comes off the goalie. ovechkin has more skill. argue if you want but i dont think its hard to see that. he skates hard (he was lazy the first 2 periods of the classic on sat.) he hits, he passes, he will put his body on the line at any point. hes proven that. shit last year he was at the top of the goal stats and he was suspended half the damn season for hitting people. lmao.

THAT said, he does NOT have the resume crosby does. no cups, no olympic golds, etc etc. Eddie and doc were dogging ovechkin a little bit for "not coming through when the stage is set" etc. which i can agree with. but i still believe ovechkin is a better player.
 
don't get me wrong, crosby is a great hockey player. no one can deny that. if I was going to build a team, it cant be around one player. the pens only have 4 players with 20+ points to the wings 10 players with 20+ points. One good player won't win you a cup. thats why the wings are at the top of the league year in and out, Depth.

Ibwas just saying if u could build a team i would start with Crosby, obviously the wings are a great team and will always be a cup contender. Anyways both players are really good and bring different elements to the game. In my opinion when U see what crosby brings everyday I think he is the beat player in the game. Go pens

Crosby's talent is not in question one bit... What everyone doesn't like is his attitude majority of the time... It plain sucks...

It sure is. He was one of the best on defense. I miss all of his big hits and that tough look. They don't make hockey players like him anymore.

:lol:....I'm just not a fan of hockey. But I like to bust peoples balls more than anything.
 
Any way you slice it, it was a dick bag move to not shake hands at the end of the Winter Classic I don't care what teams were playing. It's the job of the losing team to line up at the end and waite until the team that won is done celebrating and shake hands. Those clips of Vlady almost brought a tear to my eye, what a great player.
