Pit Bulls are EXCELLENT with kids

pits are good with small kids because they have a very high threshhold for pain... kids tend to not realize when they are doing something to hurt and animal untill its too late... a friend of mines son used to jump and or try to tackle their apbt all the time when he was younger... he did it to me a couple time when id be sitting on the floor and let me tell you a 40lb kid at full doesnt feel good when your not expecting it but she took it like a champ... i do agree that you should not leave your small kids unattended untill they are a little older and out of the grabbing pulling poking hitting jumping on stage... just my opinion...

I loved wrestling with my buddies old pitt(RIP), we'd go at it pretty rough, never bit in any way to break skin, great times with that dog

Would that DVD be helpful to amateur or beginner dog owners?

Not sure about that one. It wasn't anything instructional, just keeping them occupied. He actually bought it just as a joke to give to his girlfriend because it was called "dog sitter" but when he put it in it had both dogs full attention.

I have a bulldog and he's great while a lil hyper when i come home but great and very human like sometimes. Here a pic of him chillin in the stang....

I haven't seen it yet, so I am not sure. I can recommend a bunch of basic books and stuff if you want.
