'86 GT vert, automatic, very very very stock. (only aftermarket parts I found was Accel coil and

I need to fix the windows and the new top should be delivered Monday'ish.
I"ll give it a tune up sometime in the near future.

Need to roll the rear fenders also? Anyone have any ideas?


There is one rust "bubble" on the rear trunk lid above the drivers side rear taillight. besides that it is rustfree.. Clean underneath!

$2500 is about right for a automatic vert. Do a 5 lug conversion on it and run some bullets. My brother Daveg did this on his car, wasn't too difficult and looked a hell of a lot better when he was done.

Another thing, I'm pretty sure that speedo isn't stock. I believe they came with 85 mph speedos not 140.

Nice car! I'm not big on purple but you got a good deal so i think id deal with it. lol.

If the trunk lid has rust get rid of the rack if/when you get it fixed. :)
 
Also I just noticed, the badges on the driver side only has the 5.0 badge, and there is a pony badge on the other side.
 
Cool man! I actually like the wheels, but only because they scream 80s. I'd definitely put different wheels on eventually. I think you did pretty good on price.

So what mods you have planned? I'd at least do a shift kit, makes an auto a little more fun IMO.
 
its a motorsport 140 speedo, they go for $150 on ebay. if you want to sell it, i have 2 extra 85 speedos, you can have one.

hell of a good deal. i paid that for a car that needed paint, trans and a few other problems. you made out on that one.

i have a 3lb hammer.....to roll the fenders. :icon_hamm

LOL... it's full of quarters for the DIY carwash.

I just dropped it off at the body shop (friend owns) so the windows can be fixed (the tracks are all messed up)
then the top should be here Monday and I'm taking it to K.E. Binder for the install.

Need to put a new smog pump on it (someone on here has one, said I could have it)

I might be able to help you out with rolling the fender lips. I bought a eastwood fender roller a while back. $uperstang came over and we did his about 3 weeks ago, it cam out nice!
