looks like a stress riser crack formed in the area adjacent to the rod broach at high load. as this happened one side of the rod bea, failed and it sheered itself off. as the beam failed it twisted becuase the tension loaded side of the rod had no support.foxbodydave said:the block is un usable...the cylinder walls are broken and the cam wont come out....i was thinking about trying to make a fridge out of the old block....its an idea ive always had
