Anytime you see me out or i'm in your area, i'de be more then happy to take you for a rip, or let you rip on it yourself, that's what it's there for....show no mercy on it...and if/when it breaks...TIME to Upgrade!!!

Maybe next year I'll see it out. Don't be surprised if I flag you down and check it out. I have a hard on for LS1 cars. Have yet to even sit in one:laugh: :peelout:

Funny thing about the driving the piss out of it. Sean@CARS calls me up one night and is like "matt....i got this guy here that wants the magic stick cam and some blablabla heads...bring your car up here i gotta take this guy for a ride"

so i go up to the shop and the guy actually didn't want to drive it...he's like "will one of you 2 just take me for a spin?"

it was funny...his face was white when he and sean got back:icon_mrgr

Damn I get a chance to take an LS1 SS out and its winter time. I'm spending to much time up north at school. I need to come home more for the weekends (even thought I'll be home tomorrow). :icon_mrgr To bad everyone has their shit put away from the snow

:orly: on MI F-Body there's that "members garage" thing i have everything listed there.

it's just a Head/cam and Bolt-on car. put down 420+hp and 365+ Tq on Seans Mustang Dyno.

Truthfully i don't care for the Patriot Heads much, i can't complain cause i got a smokin deal on them. they are the 2.055intake 1.60 exhaust heads. when i had my old TR224 cam i actually lost like 5 hp and 10 lbs/ft when i put them on.

however when i put in my new cam i picked up over 40hp to the wheels with the same combo. but i also had a problem with one of the intake valve tips being all peened and smashed. luckily my "patriot dealer" hooked me up with a free set of Ferrea intake valves for mine.

Did you have that 224 cam in there with stock heads on it? It sounds like you did but I was wondering how you liked that in there for a starter cam.

yeah, with the stock heads, full bolt ons and the TR224 112lsa cam i was making 394rwhp on what was APE's mustang dyno. then when i put on my heads, i only put down 389rwhp on W2W's dyno, then when i put my 9" in, i threw my car on Seans Mustang dyno and made 381rwhp, then with my new cam it put down 421rwhp and the injectors were going static, so i put 60lbs injectors and it put down worse numbers because it was a 90* humid day...but the AFR was settled back down to where it needed to be and the "ass-o-meter" can tell you it's stronger with the new injectors, that's why i figure it's 421+hp and 365+tq lol

I think the TR224 is a great "starter cam" but if you're gonna cam your car, might as well make it worth your while, my friend Sean with the black Formula just bought my same cam, it's going to be put in this weekend over here at my house, we're curious as all hell to see what happens with my cam and stock heads!
 
Car looks bueatiful, i love using the wizards finish cut with a black pad, the things it does are amazing, i also have the same problem after i painted my 240sx a few years back i got bored one sunday morning and re-wetsanded and wheeld the whole car, made a nice little difference tho thats for sure

haha hell yeah, wizards makes some really nice products, and it's nice that Napa carries it now, before i could only find it through my suppliers at work. the black waffle pads work great cause they're so soft!

I just might. Tomorrow my parents are throwing me a kegger and Saturday night is a concert in Flint but I have nothing going on Saturday morning/afternoon.

Yea i started using it when i was a detailer at the local ford dealership, when i left there i was pissed i couldent get ahold of it but now one of the local paint stores started carrying it at OUTRAGEOUS prices what do you usually pay for a bottle of finish cut at your napa?

I think it's like $15 for a bottle of it at Napa, when i get it from Vesco (supplier) it's like $10 for a bottle of it i think...
