well i was having so much fun sitting at home being a loser on a saturday night that i decided to do something productive. not that my car needed it, but my OCD tendancies along with being bored made me feel like wheeling out my car.

i used my Makita wheel, a vesco flat foam pad (it's extremely soft) and Wizards Finish Cut compound. i used pretty low RPM's on the wheel, not much more then 2,000 rpm. then when i was done i waxed it with ardex yellow paste/carnuba wax...my camera sucks and it died as well so i only got a few pics....

i work at a detail shop, and i'm obsessive compulsive with cleaning things, i really do need medacine for this shit, but my mom denies i have a problem...:dontknow:

i like the first one the most!...i wish the 9" was a bit more visable though

I was going to say something about you'r car last night but didn't get a chance to...

Mother of god you car is tits lookin

thankyou very much!

oh, and my windshield is tinted 35%, the sides are 15% and the hatch is 5%:icon_mrgr

sometimes, i have had like 10 tint tickets through out my driving career, they seem to not care about the side windows as much as the windshield. but since i don't drive the car all that often it doesn't seem to matter much, in all honesty, Keego Harbor is the town i fear most with tint tickets. it's about 2 square miles and there's always multiple cops on duty, when i know i could partol the town on my bicycle...anyways, there's one keego cop that gives me shit alot, he pulled my over in my DD ranger (that's tinted just the same) he said he didn't care about the sides, just the windshield, so i pulled it off right infront of him, and away i went. (we tint windows at my work, so it's not a huge deal for me to strip and re-tint 'em the next day)

It's called Detail Express, we're on Orchard Lk road in Keego....

detailexpress1.com is our site i think ....

maybe in the spring...we slow down in the winter, and we just had 2 people quit, so we're set for the winter, generally everyone goes on unemployment and my boss pays everyone cash for what little work we do over the winter, but try in the spring

yellow pad? use wizard polish ever?
i like good ole wool/grey-black foam myself

i used my Makita wheel, a vesco flat foam pad (it's extremely soft) and Wizards Finish Cut compound. i used pretty low RPM's on the wheel, not much more then 2,000 rpm. then when i was done i waxed it with ardex yellow paste/carnuba wax...my camera sucks and it died as well so i only got a few pics....

i have used just about every pad combination, i just one stepped my car with a soft pad because my car didn't even need to be wheeled out, now on the other hand when i'm at work and get some botched up POS black SUV/turd that is wasted i'll whip out the wool pad and cut through everything, then go over it again with either a white waffle, black waffle or a flat pad.

generally when i'm at work i'll either 2 step a car, 1 wool then 1 with either a flat foam pad or a white or black waffle, just whatever the vehicle needs.

or if a car isn't bad i can usually get away with just a 1 step with a white waffle pad.
