What is up with that metal piece along the dash?? Everyone rips on Chrysler about their fugle interiors (Which I agree to a point), but god damn is that tacky as all hell. Is that a bullitt special?

Looks good besides that!

The Bullitt gets the GT interior upgrade package which gives you the aluminum dash accent across the dash, but for the Bullitt it's a unique engine turned finish instead of the ribbed design from a stock GT. Being the vintage car lover that I am, I love it. It calls back to some cars from the 50s and 60s, but I instantly think of the Auburn Boattail Speedster of the 30s.

I love it! Always wanted one. The best of the '05-09 Mustang IMO, Shelby's included.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

where was the pic taken with the rocks and steps in the background? Ive got a pic of my old trans am at the same place from the previous owner

Interesting and funny story. I'm driving home from work yesterday, and aside from another DHG Bullitt cruising behind me, a new BMW M5 comes weaving through traffic, no signals, etc. He lines up next to me at the light and I see it's a younger guy than me. Obviously out playing with dad's car. He gives it a quick lurch at the light. So I just sit there and wait. Soon as the light turns green we both launch. I purposely don't go full steam since it's still new, then chirp it into second. Sure enough I caught him off the line and he hung with me to about 70 then gave up. I think he saw the other Bullitt behind us(he joined in) and since they were indentical confused them for actual unmarked police Mustangs. By the next light he bailed off as quick as he could.

Just picked it up from the dealer tonight. One of the torque thrusts had a touch of curb rash to the wheel, but not the tire when I picked it up at delivery. They were cool about it, and ordered me a new wheel.
