Does anyone know where to get euro tail-lights for the new Z? I have been searching but not able to find a vendor who sells them. tia

x2 for the love of god !!!! It looks great right now, DONT RUIN IT ! put the money into some engine work. Make it sleeper vetter ( is that possible)

Personally id left it stock and took the Zo6 Emblems off... Smart people will stil recognize it as a Z06 but the punk kids runnin their parents Stang's athe track wont.

Exactly... This is how it begins for so many guys. They make a few exterior changes that result in a great, understated-but-awesome look, but then they lose their minds! Next thing you know a great looking car looks like some freakin', riced-out, pimp-mobile.

Fadi, leave it alone. Just make it faster and enjoy it. It's perfect the way it sits.

lol. I will have to see a set on the car. I usually like the euro tail lights look. We will see. Don't worry, the car wont get riced and pimped out. :icon_mrgr
 
Those wheels look tough on there - IMO it is hard to make that thing look any better... keep the original tail lights though!

He is not looking for those fake euro taillights (Silver/red/crap). He is looking for the actual European spec taillights that GM puts on the cars for Europe. They usually have amber turn signals, etc like these examples off of a C5.

Thanks man, and yes, I am looking for the real euro taillights. Not sure what some of you guys were thinking I was talking about..:dontknow:
 
Fadi, they do make the Euro Spec taillights but I had a hard time just finding a picture. Here is a shot from the Chevy Japan website. Looks like the amber are only on the outer lights. But it would be cool to have all 4 have the amber and rig it up to do that sequential lighting when you put on your turn signal. That would be SWEET!

You may have luck on ebay. I know a bunch of guys with F-bodies usually get their euro spec taillights that way. Good luck!

I have the amber and clear on the back of my c5. And they are also sequential. I know I love them. Good luck finding yours.

I HATE CHROME!One thing I like about the Vette... NO Chrome.
Aluminum is alright, polished aluminum is nice if done tastefully.
Personally, I LOVE FLAT BLACK.


btw: Rims turned out killer.
 
Thanks guys. I really do want the euro tail lights. I was told today that I could have them ordered at my local chevy dealer, so i will check it out tomorrow.

For powdercoating, QC coatings charged me $265 total out the door for my 4 rims. I think this is the best mod one can do to ANY car. Makes the car look 100x better imo
