Our new rescue. His name is Baxter (already named). He is an English Setter, about 7 or 8 years old.

Thanks! He has more energy than any dog I've come across, especially for his age. However, we were told he was 4 or 5 from the rescue, but our vet told us 7 or 8 at least. He doesn't play fetch at all, all he wants to do is chase birds around the yard.

Well at least that's something to keep him busy and burn some energy off. haha Mac is the same way with squirrels. He finally got one last Saturday. Wasn't fun for me but man was he proud. :lol:

EDIT: We got the Edy's container out of the CHILD-LOCKED Trash cabinet too....lucky he only got to lick the sides...

Notice too....how all these pics are in the basement...that's where he goes when he takes stuff, so he hides from us.

LOL!!!!! He was. We are remodeling our kitchen, so my cereal is on the bar in my basement. He got up there and picked Cheerios instead of Cinnamon Life. Crazy dog!! He looks skinny in that pic, he's a hair under 70lbs.
 
My dog turbo (red dobe) and my brothers boxer polar bear. Finally got them tired enough to sit still for 2 seconds to get a pic lol.

My buddy used to breed them and that's were I got turbo from. He is awesome and loves everybody. All my friends were scared of him till they come in the house. They say he is intimidating, but soon as they come in they say he is such a baby. He is just really big and goofy and hyper. He has a fantastic temper around kids and other people. His parents are the same way.

He could if he wanted to but he hasn't yet, I think he is just scared to. He loves to run, an when he wants to it looks like turbo lag because he takes off running then he is just gone. He has done some crazy jumps tho. It is crazy the power he has in his legs. He is a great dog I wish I had more property I would get another in a instant.

I bet if we taught our dogs how to do it, they'd do it everytime, and that would be very bad. :lol: The turbo lag is funny, Clyde kinda does that too. He'll run fast, but not go all out. He will only do that when he is with another dog and that dog gives chase. They'll get going, then Clyde passes them up, he's a rocket. And you took the words right out of my mouth with saying if you had a bigger yard that you'd get another. I would too!! My yard is too small for my dog. He can't even get to half speed and he hits the fence. My parents yard is great for running, but they're about to move soon.
