I used to know of a program called pcanywhere that let me access my work computer from home. Does anyone have any suggestions of a better program, or maybe an ok on this one for this purpose? I just want ot be able to work on my work network from home.

If you have windows XP pro on the work machine use remote Desktop (part of Xp)
Right Click My Computer and Allow remote Connections.
On the Controlling PC Start/Run MSTC and enert the ip address then user name and password.
 
I use PCAnywhere and its okay for that kind of stuff.
I don't really have any complaints... its easy to use just slow depending on the connection.
