Paint/scratch shop on the Westside?

Anyone have any recomendations for a good scratch removal guy on the Westside (Westland/Canton etc. area)? I finished up installing longtubes on the TBSS last night without a hitch (no scratches, dings, leftover bolts etc.). I fired the truck up, smiled, checked for leaks and shut it down. Upon exiting the truck I opened the door into the stock exhaust that was proped on my workbench. Result: A 5" scratch that is probably too deep to wet sand and buff out. I swear this truck has more scratchs already than my 94 Cobra (both black of course). Anyway, anybody local that does a good job, is reasonable and can turn it around fairly quick?

I had the dent guy in Plymouth sand a few minor surface scratches in the truck a few days after I picked it up and he worked magic. Unfortunately he doesnt do paint work.

Thanks in advance

Jake

I know a guy that works outta his garage in westland that does paint work for Red Holman. He's on Wildwood/Ford Rd. Rick's in FL, i'll call him and get his # for ya. Sure he'd do it real cheap and does great work

Nick..

Thats exactly what I am looking for! Post it or pm me a number when you get a chance.

Will do. He does awesome work for sure and has been doing it a longggg time.. BTW I'm jealous.. TBSS AND the S/C'ed cobra.. haha

Thanks for the compliments! I needed a new kid hauler/grocery getter and promised myself I'd never get a minivan. I also convinced Kelly it was a practical daily driver. Although she still thinks the headers were a recall I had shipped to the house! Off to get tuned at lunch today too!

lol I'm calling Matt and telling him to tell her!! lol jk

I've got a guy that does GREAT work in Ann Arbor if you want to make the drive.

The intake is from Vector motorsports. The same guys who do the tuning on the truck.

oh ok, i thought theirs was chrome. Truck is nice, probably sounds healthy. Do you have that heat soak thing for it? I have been trying to talk my cousin into getting it but he wont listen.

Matt - I'll get back to you if Nicks guy falls thru. I'm basically looking for a quick turn around. The truck is my daily and the stang needs new drag radials.

The HRSK will be the next gadget for the truck. The truck produces alot of under hood heat which really cuts the power down in city traffic. I'll look into it while I'm up there at lunch today.

Yea, i heard the TB's do that..in the warmer weather they run like butt. Just wondering if you had an experience with it..
