I just bought a striaght notch(no rust except the rear trunk) that I am going to get painted very soon. It is white and I am repainting it white. I want to have the moldings white like the rest of the car too. I will be driving the hell out of it when its done and it wont be a show car and want to keep costs down but I want it to look decent. My question is do you guys always take off the door moldings and fender molings or do any of you leave them on and paint them on the car? It would definatly be a time saver but I dont want the car to look like shit either. I do plan on taking the window trim off and the quarter windows out as well as the door skins.

they can be painted on the car, I would suggest using an adhesive promotor or sealer for the rubber moldings, they tend to flake over time

Thanks for that, I always wanted a notch since they came out and finally got one. It needs a lot of love for sure, but it is essentialy rust free. The interior is faded like crazy but no holes or anything. I just want it to look pretty first before the gofast goodies start.

x2 sealer or promoter for the win clean coupe man

lol i did the the go fast parts before lmfaooo but i regret it do paint then do your suspention
then worry about goin fast why have alot a power then have it spin
