With this car

"Our 18 deg motor at 421 inches has gone 8.30 at 167 on a single plate at 3200 lbs on true 10.5's. Slightly slower on radials only because they were only one for one day at the track just to test. The new motor should step it up a little."

yea thats what I was thinking also...sounds like an all out race car to blackstangs street car.

That is just one of the bullets. We have an ls1 being built for it and are hoping it will land somewhere in the low 9 zone when it's done. Kinda a PR thing for an ls1 shop.

So I guess he can pick his poison?

Dunno about all out racecar. It's titled, plated and insured. Runs small tires and is stock susp. And I am doubting how 'streetcar' his 'streetcar' is...I just want to line up some races at the track. Drive it there, trailer it there, makes no difference to me.
 
Are you from around here or did you move? I thought I read you were in South Carolina or something.

I live in Metro Detroit still. Car is running the ORSCA series this year down south. Our engine builder has it and is making us some money while the tracks up here are closed or cold (or both).

That funny. I dont know how I changed my tune. Which car do you want to race? Your car or a friends car? We all have fast friends that isnt anything to brag about. What is the information on the car you want to run? I will race your car with my cousins 10.5 Mustang.

We can do that. Anything that you will personally be driving vs anything I'll be personally driving. Come get some.

I am part owner and driver of the car. The other owner is my friend. What's left to talk about?

I dont know what you consider a street car but I still have a full factory interior, seats and everything except for an aftermarket stereo system and shifter. Still have the stock suspension setup, factory gas tank, all working lights and power windows and locks. I consider it a street car.:dontknow:
