oxford shooting post, very sad

Have kid lost their fucking minds ...

Plymouth Canton Education Park locked down this afternoon because someone said they saw a gun ...6000 plus student held in t he school for hours ...
all busses were their already for pick up ... stuck there ... parents had to scramble to pick up middle school and elementary

I think you are spot on here about morals, and it reminds me of a story. When I moved in with my dad in the late 90's to go to Oakland U, he had five "Yorkie" dogs. The last one he got would just pee wherever it was standing when it had to go, so pretty much all over the house. I asked him what he did differently with that one relative to potty training, and he said he didn't do anything, he just assumed that it would figure it out. It didn't.

Kids don't just "Figure out" morals either, they need to be taught at a young age. I can't imagine how hard high school is when you throw in social media - it was already sucking for me in the 80's without digital help. But man, how bad does it have to be for a kid to think that shooting people is even an option? I just can't even wrap my head around it. But knowing right from wrong at a young age is the key to stopping these events, and there is nowhere better to learn that than a good church.

With that said it starts from the top down. The founding fathers said we will be a great and successful nation as long as we are led by moral men (and women). Well we aren't and the moral wasteland starts at our leadership, media, Hollywood etc.

This is one of the truest things I have ever read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our political leaders have become so divisive and dont even get me started on the media and pop culture.

No idea what happened to the golden rule " Treat others as you want to be treated" or hell even as they want to be treated.

There is ways to sue the government. Surprised Fryguy302 hasn't checked in and said something about what's happening in Oxford.

In other words, the judge is complicit in denying the defendants' basic civil rights.
The parent's aren't a threat to anyone. There have been dozens of school shootings over the years - the parents were never charged. What we have here is a pathetic prosecutor (Ms. Tampon McDonald) and a Sheriff who ejaculates seeing himself on CNN (note when he ran for Governor the people told him to go f* himself)..
