Looks like the loser fuckin parents are getting charged also.

I disagree with you, but my view point is coming from one with 3 teenagers in highschool. But I understand what you are saying and how you feel about it.
When you honestly look at the facts in this case, these 2 were clearly negligent and their actions made this horrific scene possible.
https://www.detroitnews.com/story/n...crumbley-drawings-teacher-warning/8854446002/According to authorities, on a piece of paper in front of Crumbley, the teacher saw the words: "the thoughts won't stop, help me" and a drawing of a bullet and the phrase: "blood everywhere."
There was a sketch of a person shot twice and bleeding, a laughing emoji and the final lines: “my life is useless” and “the world is dead.”
Detroit News is reporting that the kid had the meeting with his parents and it sounds like he already had the gun in his backpack. Some teacher saw a picture on his desk alluding to a shooting, and he was told not to come back to school without counseling. Yet, his parents left without him, and he did the shooting shortly thereafter. WTF?

This is sounding worse and worse. There were multiple places the system should have caught this.

More and more is going to come out the deeper they dive into the texts between the son and the parents.
There is a BOLO for the parents right now. They appear to have left town.
When I first read about the shooting I lamented that it was a good thing the FBI weren't first on scene or there would have been far more fatalities and the building would have been burned down.I am sure that the FBI has a nice thick file on their school board at least...
Walk in the park. Premediated beyond measure. The kid is 15.... not sure on how successful pressing charges as a adult....
I'm sure that'll come out during the trial but I suspect the pistol was already in his backpack and he had already decided to commit murder. The kid and his parents met with the Oxford school officials to discuss his poor classroom behavior Tuesday morning. So the question is, did he arrive with the gun that morning or go home and get it after the meeting?
The only behavioral issues reported occurred -after- the pistol was purchased. You do understand the difference between before and after, yes?Weirdest part of it for me is the mother on social media talking about buying the gun for her son, all while he's been having behavioral problems at school.
If one of your kids stole your car keys/car and then creamed a bunch of kids standing in front of a school should you be considered guilty of murder for not locking up your keys or removing the car's battery? What about if one of your kids ganked a bottle of liquor from your cabinet and later killed someone in a car crash? Should you be automatically considered guilty of manslaughter?I don't care what the law is but they need to make examples of these careless parents..
Don't do what - have a second cookie for dessert? Text absent context is pretext.I agree. If she texted her son "Don't do it" after hearing about the shooting ...
How many of those kids who supposedly stayed home out of fear or parents who supposedly knew there'd be a shooting contacted police? The answer rhymes with hero. Why aren't each of those people being charged with manslaughter? It's crazy that with multiple days of his social media posts, issues at school, other kids being scared enough to stay home, other kids' parents knowing their kids know of a threat and are staying home but nobody lets the police know?
Awfully easy to say after the fact. What writings/drawings are innocent ramblings/art and which are threats? Anyone can say -after- a shooting that gee - you should have known..The kid is drawing about killing people and nobody thinks to check his bag
The DA/police clearly are obviously trying to poison a potential jury pool by concocting a narrative that the parents fled. That's horse shit. Their attorney contacted authorities and stated that the parents would surrender themselves if charged. The parents had left home the day of the shooting after their home address was published to protect their safety. Instead of contacting the attorney and allowing sufficient time for the parents to return they hurried up and scheduled a court appointment and then took to CNN to pretend that the parents were on the lamb. Such lying bastards. There’s two story’s to that . One says they left town for protection the night it happened and the police were notified . The police are saying no
They found the car in Detroit
Just watched the court hearing on Fox2, the gun was locked and the parents got a bond of $500,000 each?
That's messed up!
