light right now.. we have so many rooms down for the desiel updates.

but were so understaffed it hasnt been to bad... I run two to three rooms a night. Theres a couple other guys running two rooms also but, we have 6 or 7 rooms down between F and G wing for the updates. 5 are almost done, there going thru shakedowns on the dynos now...

Yeah its shit... ive herd from a pretty good source that theres a damn good chance we will be picked up next year once this "cleaning house" is done.. There running all the 30 year plus guys out.. and somthing 60-70 percent of our building can retier right now.

In one of our meetings they made mention they are worried cuz of the turn around rate for sverdrup people.. and we all said its becuase sverdrup dont pay us shit and dont give two fucks about us and what not.. all my sverdrup boss cares about is that we make him look good.
The rep doing the meeting said that we need to stick it out and the people who do will be picked up...

so i deal with it and take the shit work when no one else will and fucking clean bed plates when people complain they dont want to ... i dont care i do all the bitch work and still get more line-up ran and with good data that the day shit tards do...
 
We are really slow for this time of the year.
I hope we get some new product soon. The way it looks for us is the rush is going to be after all the packages are out.

But I'm still working the weekend

yea we just got a whole new engine project for the desiels so it should keep up busy for a few years.. plus the a few other smaller ones ..

it shouldnt be to bad this is the first weekend in a few months though that our sign up sheet for OT was up and how i got it for sat and sun over the ford guys i have no clue...

they got some unwritten agreement that if there is ot the ford guys get first pick then we get whats left.. well my boss didnt even ask anyone he just put me in the room.. kinda cool.. but it will start some drama shit crying from the ford guys

Ya we have the same thing I'm one of three people that works midnights.
 
Ugh....I'm sick of overtime!!!!

I'd be happy with like 4 hours of OT a week. Unfortunately I work way more than that and have been for the last 2 months...50-70 hours a week :(

Money is nice, but it wears on you after a while. I was on vacation for a week and just got back to work. I mistakenly thought the overtime would come to an end while I was off. No such luck.....looks like I am going to be having quite a bit of forced overtime since I only signed up for 8 hours a week :bs:

Shiiiiiiit! we always called wyandotte........ Whitedotte or Caucasionville. I lived in that city almost my whole life until I was 22 years old or so.
