i have a 95 mustang gt and when i got it the guy had the fan motor wired direct into the fuse box so it always ran. motor blew out so i replaced it. he told me there was a recall on the CCRM but never took it into have it replaced. true or not, no clue. anyhow i wanted to fix it right so i took out the wire he ran and replaced the fan motor, thermostat, coolent temp sensor and just put a CCRM out of a 97 mustang gt in it. still the fan does not kick on as it should. what am i missing here and will a CCRM out of a 97 even work in my 95? i know there are in different locations but they are 100% identical. im really getting tired of this issue and wasting money.

if the letter code on the CCRMs were the same, they are compatable

fuses good? wire from computer to CCRM good? fan wires good?

yea all that is good, atleast now it is. im the biggest dumbass. i replaced everything and i could have sworn i checked all fuses before doing anything. thats always like the first step. well i was stumped to i decided to start from point A again.. check the fuses. sure as shit the fuse for the fan was blown. i was mad, but relieved at the same time. so i got a new fuse and everything works. however from there i learned that the fan motor i had baught from advanced auto was the wrong fan motor. i had baught that last fall and installed it and didnt realize it did not have the small bar going thro the shaft, if that makes any sence. so it bolts in and worked, but wasnt turning the fan. so i had to go buy yet another new one. now i have a extra fan motor and a ccrm i dont need. however now that everything is working, it still dont seem right. everything works but when the fan kicks on it viberates the hole car and it sure is noticable. especially when it shuts off it vibrates the worst. everything is in place and tight, any ideas on that one?
