issues like??? Those motors in stock form are damn near indestructible.

seems #8 cylinder had an anti-fouling adapter on the plug, which was very oily. exhaust port was pretty oily too. just bought it in late oct. 07, so really never got into the tune too much. we're guessing broken rings or piston? either way it needs to come out. anybody's got any thoughts, i'm all ears. thanks. jim.

Sorry to hear man!

could just be a ploy to slip a bullet in, in case we run into you on the street. lol. i knew it was down on power, but the wires, cap, etc. looked old, so i had brought all that home sat. for the install. we'll see how it goes i guess.

Yeah thats a bummer Jim :( Why not just pull the motor down do a quick hone and some new rings and throw it back it? a few hundred bucks and it'll get you by for now. I know you said you weren't looking to do a motor change so soon. Anyways just a thought

true,true.... s'pose i should weigh all options. guess all you guys with the killer builds are getting me horsepower drunk. lol.

well, the motors on the garage floor. the engine bay is pretty dirty. if it gets nicer this week, we'll roll it outside for a good cleaning! seems like a good time for a tubular k-member. we'll see what works out financially.

Look around. I know there was one on YB.com for about $400 buck. You can always post a wanted and see what pops up.

For the tubular K, call Team Z motorsports.

well, we're moving forward again! got the engine bay looking much better. de-greased the k-member (nasty), cleaned and painted some suspension parts. sadly, i just can't justify the tube-k right now. $$$...:crap: there's still plenty to buy. i'll use the new frpp a-arms i've already got, along with the front springs that came with the frpp drag kit. the 70/30's are all laid out for installation this coming week. pics to come as thing come together. thanks for looking everybody. team jim and brian.

Sounds like its coming along, post some pics of the progress when you can, good to meet you guys the other night.
