Our 2011 Mustang GT vs. C6 Z06 at the track

This is growing into one of those tired old arguments which I don't think really was the intent. Confused Garage, you got a Z06 and that's your boy. I get it. Try to be more open minded.

The take on that video is that someone took a new 5.0 and with some good mods has it running 10's N/A. Yes, that's as quick as a Z06. Heavier? Yes. Cheaper? Yes. Cooler? ?
 
Sardeanie, all I did was question the comment about the 5.0 motor being superior to an LS7 - which as everyone agrees was ridiculous. Thats all I said besides my praise. If there were adequate reading comprehension skills involved some would realize there was no need to tell me to be open minded.

I actually considered selling my Z06 for a grabber blue GT500 at one point I like the mustang so much. People can't just make ridiculous statements and not expect to be called out. In my posts you see I praised the stang for nice runs. Don't act like I'm just hating on the stang, thats not what happened here AT ALL. I am always for the underdog coming out on top, its more fun that way, especially when it is a domestic product.

Anyway, again great runs. I love how well it moves for just having the basics done.

They are different motors for different situations. Both are bad ass. Ford really did a great job on the 5.0.
