I am far from a BMW fanboy (Ihate the one I own), but I am confused on the M3 comparo. The Mustang may go around the track faster, but the M3 is not a "stripper" model.
 
That is the comparison that is being made. The base GT did a damn good job against the M3, and the Boss was suppose to beat it, and it does (performance wise).

I know it was Ford that drew the comparison, I still just think it is a lousy one to make.
 
it seems that EVERYONE missed the part where it even beat the Audi R8..... pretty impressive to me seeing as that it a VERY expensive car...

i dont like the fact that the sticker is 43K but im sorry people, look at the 2000 Cobra R.. that mother fucker didnt even have a damn radio, bare bones car and it sold for WAYYYY more than this and was probably a lot slower too...
 
They are certainly very nice cars. Look forward to seeing a few out on the street - hopefully they won't ALL be garage queens.

Sadly, I can't (personally) fathom spending that much coin on a mustang (new, anyways) though. Just my .02 - no offense to any of the mustang fanboys out there (including myself, as I am partial to 'stangs). LOL
