Our 1st BOSS

I don't think so....If one wants it bad enough, one will pay.....Dealers need to make their $$$$

Plenty of people on the Mustang forums are getting theirs for MSRP. The few that are trying to charge ADM are sitting on lots/showroom floors.

This car doesn't deserve an ADM, nor does any car IMO. If you are willing to part with your money that easily, I'm sure I can find something else for you to donate it to. Dealers make their money by selling a car over their invoice price. Even then, there is holdback figured into that, so they don't lose.

Yep, owning a dealership is a license to print money...............except for the 100's that have gone out of business just this year.

For the record this one is being sold at MSRP. As well as the other NON-LS models.

Plenty of people are paying over MSRP also..... So, Varsity JUST got this one in and other are SITTING on lots/showroom floors??

With this Donation you speak of....Will a 2012 BOSS Mustang be my reward??

I'm quite familiar with how dealerships make their money...I've had the discussion with Both Lou and Matt Stanford on the subject...

There are more going for MSRP than for markup. All I'm saying is that I disagree with the practice of ADMs on vehicles. Don't really see why you're getting so hung up on the subject.

Here's a breakdown of just one forum's Boss orders:

Matt, glad to hear this one went for MSRP. How many did your dealer get allocated?

Sorry, I have not been on that website...Nor will I ever go again... I have cleared my cookies and have to re-enter my passwords...To that I say Thank U...

BTW, 80% of people can come up with statistics to prove anything....25% of people know that....

When is last time you heard someone say "Man I overpaid for that car", pretty much never. People like to pretend they always get the best deals. Just remember price is all perception. People were paying sticker plus for Honda S2000's back in the day.

My Grandfather use to always say "He who holds the Gold makes the rules"

I remember people paying over sticker for the PT Cruiser. THE PT CRUISER!!!!

Yep, I remember people trying to trade them in a year later saying "I paid sticker" to which I replied "That made your old salespersons month"

I don't get why people get mad when dealers sell cars over sticker. The "S" is suggested.

Let me know when two guys show up to buy your house and you turn down the guy that offers way over asking price.

43k? Does it have a kilo of cocaine in the trunk? It would have been cool to have had an M3 killer for 20k less than an M3. That's 11k over price for a GT premium isnt it? for some suspension tuning and 40hp? :(
