Orders from Summit Racing

Is anyone else having huge delays with things they order from Summit? I ordered some stuff back on the 13th and it's still not been shipped. I've called a bunch of times and they say that the order is ready to ship but the shipping companies are the hold up because of the pandemic. I get that, but this seems to be a bit extreme now.

I've been having a hard time getting some of my electrical supplies as well. Is everything this hard to get now?

It sucks. Everything seems to be stopped dead in its tracks. No projects ever seem to get done anymore because of this crap.

Summit has been pretty reliable but there has been some stuff coming out of the west coast warehouse that I expected to be more common and available from Ohio that took and ext 3-5 days to get here. I do notice that there are delays form the time the shipping labels are create from Summit, BTR and Motion Raceworks that there might be a day or two in limbo some times.

I am still waiting on my Aeromotive EFI tank for my 67. Ordered it 3 weeks ago and they are now saying I wont take delivery until end of June. It's not Summits fault. I am sure Aeromotive is having issues getting the parts they need to make it and ship.

If it comes from Ohio I usually get my stuff in 2 days. 1 week minimum if it's coming from the west coast.

It's official, my first failed shipping during COVID. Some parts from a little shop in Texas made it to Perrysburg, OH yesterday morning and then could not make to me in 24 hours??? They are stuck in Monroe Twp for Fed Ex???? WTF??? The crazy thing is the silly parts are made 45 minutes down the road in Taylor and the Texas shop was the only one with stock. lol

That's insanity right there. BTW, most of the stuff I ordered finally came in on Friday and yesterday, the last bit will be here Monday. Just craziness anymore.

Same here. Been seeing a few more delays in processing but nothing too bad just make sure you look at the estimated ship date on the parts before ordering

My brother in law ordered a rotating assembly for a Ford last year right when Covid started. The box showed up from Fedex three months later, and it was missing the crankshaft and rods. He lives in Windsor, and had to hire a freight service to come over here and get the leftovers plus a transmission he ordered.

That's just beyond rediciolous. They should have to compensate him for that, but I'm sure they didn't.
