This is being discussed over on the corral. i did a quick photochop on my car. I dont want to do this but just wondering what others thought. I know its a "tuners" mod to put eyelids on but its interesting. the only way to do it so it looks halfway decent is to graft the hood over the headlights, no stick on crap.

Yeah, I kinda dig it too. the only problem is execution... the only way to make it look good up close is to make the hood VERY close to the headlights so it looks like it flows well.

Beau... if you see this, let me know how you think it can be done. think about it for the future when my car is painted!
 
with like a 1.5" cowl I think it would look a little meaner, but it does look good and would be sweet if it was done correctly
 
I cant believe im saying this but I think im going to do it to see what it looks like in real life. Id rather use a stock steel hood to play with before I go with fiberglass and 1.5" cowl.

anyone have a hood I could have?
 
It would be a cool look if you had it done :D

Would it have enough space to not interfere with the headlamps (rubbing, etc)?
 
since the fox hoods tend to move around a lot at higher speeds youd have to make sure there's enough room or take enough precautions to not have it contact the headlights. If I find a donor hood ill give it a shot though.
