Opinions on a 79....

Thanks for all of the input guys! I am still trying to get the sheet with all of the info of the car! It is my friends sister's car. I know it is a light blue with whitish interior and a sun roof. It is already set up for Nitrous, has some exhaust stuff done, and has a line lock.

I'll get the rest and post up and get more opinions!

Remember '79 had some stuff unique to that year-door panels,etc. Some came with aluminum front and/or rear bumper spports (my '82 came with a rear one).
 
I looked for a few years actually for 79-82 notch. I specifically wanted a 79-82 for few cosmetic differences from the rest of the fox bodies. I would LOVE to own a 79....
 
Wow, I didn't know that so many people would like that body style. Maybe I will pick this up and have fun with it. All depends on what they want for it. Think they mentioned between 3-4k.

I'm not sure how much is too much though! Any Ideas what one would be for one in excellent shape and a few mods?
 
How solid is the car. Are the torque boxes beat up? Check the frame rails real well too-the early cars tend to rust out pretty bad. Had mine fixed a few years ago. This is a pic of a framerail off an '83 vert I'm parting out:
