Operation Repo

Well we're finally starting to get the rest of the parts in and picked some badass tow mirrors at partsgalore.

Also started the 07 conversion on the front end.

Tonight we bust ass cuz we need to get back to work and we finally have the parts. Banks can't seem to send us the right parts. Glow plugs, front clip, air intake, banks intercooler kit, rear bumper, wire led tailights, wire headlights is all we have left to do I think

Did you guys put some counter weight in the front end? I used to do repo and our trucks had iirc 1000# just behind the front bumper
 
I was glad we had that weight when we had to pull a mega cab ram. Steering was still really light. We used quad cab's i do not think they were long bed tho
 
Still need to hook up all the hydraulic's, wire the In-cab controller for the boom , Firestone air ride/compressor and controller , paint the bed liner on and a few mis things....then she's ready to roll.
 
Just got the truck back from DETROIT GEARBOX!!! Rich Bewick is the man!!
Basicly the converter was slipping like hell, the rear diff was shot.

Rich has upgraded the transmission with some heavy duty stuff inside added a Precision Industries Triple Disc Torque converter, Precision Billet Flywheel, Transgo "tugger 2" shift kit, Huge heavy duty trans cooler (Great job with the custom brackets and install location behind grill)............Rear Differential was replaced with a Eaton "Tru Track " Limited slip. All AMSOIL fluids.
The truck is shifting amazing!! The fuel mileage is unreal!!
Another top notch job by one of the best trans builders in the world!! Thank you so much buddy!!


For anyone following the build thread:
Repo Truck was put on the back burner for a little while while i was rebuilding the ol' ladies 6.0L powerstroke......back on track now.
also will be posting thread of 6.0L build. cab on/heads on ARP install+ more. Truck is a beast now!!
