one last LED light order

Badass! I just hung 42 in my wife's horsebarn yesterday. Still gotta wire the circuits up. But I did update my barn with 16 and that is like daylight. Debating adding more in there but not sure if it would be too bright.

dumb question - what kind of current do these draw (assumedly, very low)? How many can be put on a 15 amp circuit?

I have two regular old incandescent lights in my garage - not sure what else is on that circuit. I'd like to remove those, and if possible, just use that circuit for these. If needed though, I could run a new 15 or 20 amp circuit specifically for them.

I have a 3 car garage, basically 30' wide and 25' deep. Debating how many I'd want/need in there. I was thinking 3-4 per "bay", for a total of 9-12.

I have almost the exact same size garage as you. Mine is 9ft walls. I hung 8 originally and now have 14. Much happier with 14. I have 5 per side with 4 down the middle. I went 4ft from each side wall and hung my outside rows. So each outside row hangs on the ceiling from 4ft-8ft off the wall. Then I centered my middle row. I'm 26ft wide and 31 deep. I will go check amp draw right now and post back in a minute.

Cool, thanks guys. Sounds like I will have 12-15 on the ceiling and I figure 1-2 over my workbench.

How are you wiring them in with the pigtails? Throwing a box on each one? Just drilling a small hole in the drywall to run the pigtail through?

You can either use the female/female connectors to chain them together or use the pigtails and wire nuts. It's all low voltage you can use almost anything.

How many are you guys daisy chaining off one circuit?

I don't know what that means, as I have almost no knowledge of electrical terms. But all of mine are powered from the same light switch. Just 1 switch to flip right next to the entry door on the inside of my garage.

4 Daisy chained together and 4 runs all on the same circuit.
