? on N2O fuel cell& fuel pump

i plan on using a 1 gal. fuel cell just for my fuel sylinoid this year...so my question is do i need to run a regulator with my separate holly blue fuel pump? this pump will be just for the fuel cell.

I've allways started at 6.5 setting it with a flow gauge. Then ran the car checked the plugs and went from there.

the thing with low psi n20 systems is that it should be flowed before each use. Mine can be set for low or high pressure. I set mine up for high pressure cause 1 psi at 60 is nothing but 1 psi at 6.5 is a TON. The back thing about high pressure is that the jets are so small that there is a change of one getting plugged very easy

Definately use a regulator and flow it properly before each pass. The yellowbullet guys like the $20 holley's. I think you are using an NOS plate and most of their stuff is 6psi but be sure to check. You telling me you don't know what PSi you've been spraying all this time? 1/4 psi adjustments make a difference in the tune.

it has been split this hole time from my regulator that feeds my carb,and that regulator is set at 5.5-6psi...and my fuel safety switch is set at 5psi.
i just figured that the psi setting to the fuel sylanoid really didn't matter.when i get the 1 gallon set up..., i mean either 5psi or 14 psi the gas is still only going through a small ass hole on the plate? but i guess it does.
maybe im saying something wrong here..i will have my fuel pump that feeds my carb, and then a fuel pump that will feed my fuel sylanoid from a 1 gallon fuel cell.

Yep, a little bit of FP can make a difference! Hard to tune a nitrous system if you can't adjust FP.

if you use a small return line back to the cell with a standard holley jet installed it will help keep the pressure more consistent..

It will also keep you from getting an air lock. The biggest thing is getting ffp (flowing fuel pressure), dead heading systems tend to creep the pressure up. Then when the nitrous system is on and flowing fuel pressure will drop and you could go lean.
