Ok to use brass fittings for oil pressure sender?

To orient the pressure sender properly on my LT1, the factory used two aluminum (I believe) 90° fittings that I cannot locate. I can't see why, but is there any reason that brass wouldn't work properly in this application?

has been getting used for many many years, as long as you don't have a foot of fittings, should be fine, make sure not to over tighten, and use sealer on the threads(if tape, very thin)
