OK, how does this happens?

The sad part is that this little kid is now going to have to have social services in every aspect of her life. Her parents made a mistake (if their story is true) and will now be harrassed nonstop as well.

GOOD!!! Those parents deserve to be harrassed! Fuck them for not paying attention to their child and leaving without her. When my wife and I are anywhere with our daughter she's never more than a few feet away from us and one of us ALWAYS has our eyes on her...and she's 4. When she was 2 we were even more strict.

"Oh, we left without her...whoopsie!"

There is NO excuse for that!
 
if your family is that fucked up, social service DESERVES to be in her life. Obviously, otherwise next time the girl could be dead..

If their story that they were at a party at Chucke Cheese and the girl got separated isn't all that hard to believe. Kids are running all over the place there, and if you're there with a party, it's very likely the girl just ran off with some friends. I did it when I was little. IF it was an honest mistake like that and not one of those where the parents took the kid got there and ignored it while they socialized, then yes they deserve it.

Ryan, the kid is 2 years old!!! The "well, she got away from me for a second" excuse MIGHT work if the kid was say 10 or so, but not 2!!! And even at the age of 10, a parent should be very aware of where their child(ren) are at all times! I'm sorry, but that excuse doesn't fly well with me at all!

My wife and I see kids of all ages running around our neighborhood all the time. Our neighbor is statistically a very safe one, but still, where are these kid's parents?!?!? Our daughter isn't even allowed to be in our gated, and locked, backyard without us!

I agree there is NO excuse for that. I see that crap near my parents house, kids running around with no parent in sight! :mad:
