That body is hacked up to except the drivetrain/engine. Production body is mostlikely protected by lock n key and armed guards at the tech center.

I am beginning to think we might see the production version and details at the auto show.

To the hood, this is just my thinking. They need to test the engine. They need to put atleast a 100k on it to make sure its going to last and not break down after 25k miles. They didnt want to wait say, 6+ weeks for a hood to be made so they cut a big old chunk outta the stock c6z hood so that the roots type blower would fit and then threw that cover on it so no one can see whats under it. It wont make it into production. Its just for testing.
